Team Indigenous Rising

We were hired by Team Indigenous Rising Roller Derby to design a new logo for their team. The opportunity to design a logo that speaks to multiple Indigenous nations was a tall order. Instead, we opted to using the land, sky and universe to shape the logo design. From water to land, the team had many representations that needed to be included, so we combined similar worldviews and kept the overall design simple, for reproduction on multiple surfaces and fabrics.
