We’re happy to announce that the National Congress of American Indians has voted our collaborative creative efforts in conjunction with Longhouse Media, “Best Highlights of 2011 Communications for NCAI”. January has been a month of new business! We’re happy to announce that we’ve partnered with Coast Salish artist Shaun Peterson, to shoot a promotional video about his craft. We’ve begun our process last month while we slowly move into post-production. Stay tuned for updates!

We’re happy to announce that we’ve landed a new partner and client, University of Washington’s Partnership for Native Health. We’re partnering with P4NH to brand their website and visual brand. We’re excited to begin a new relationship with UW and their partners. We hope to have updates on the progress of our work soon. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.

NCAI Focus – 1/18/2012

Late last fall, we had the privilege and honor to collaborate with Coast Salish artist Louie Gong to design the cover for National Congress of the American Indian’s annual convention guide. The theme? Footprints into the Future. The conference took place in Portland, OR, the cover reflects a Portland experience. These guides went like hotcakes, nothing left. Amazing. We thank Louie Gong for bringing us on and doing great work and most importantly, we thank NCAI. There might be a poster release of this image, but for not anytime soon.

Client Spotlight 1 – 10/20/2011

We’re doing something new! We’ll be posting in our news section, a client spotlight focus. For our first focus, we’d like to highlight our work with Muckleshoot Tribal College, based in Muckleshoot, Washington. We had the wonderful opportunity to get on board with MTC, to build a brand and collateral items. We focused on branding their website, print collateral, tshirts, and refining their identity. Their original identity/logo was designed by Coast Salish artist Louie Gong. In this process, we collaborated with Louie to work from his design and take it further with a look and feel. Below is the result of our efforts.

A set of photo-illustrations for our client, Social Justice Fund Northwest. We had the an exciting opportunity to work with a Seattle based Indigenous photographer, Kiliii Yu to shoot hi-quality studio photos. The result was stunning! This month we had the great privilege to travel to Denver, CO to kickoff a meeting with our newest client, First Nations Development Institute. FNDI is an organization based out of Colorado that is dedicated to policy, research, grantmaking, and lending in Indian Country.

What is our role? Well, we’ve joined their team to help visually brand a new financial awareness campaign of theirs, that is directed to Native communities throughout the US. That is all we can reveal at this point, but we’ll keep you updated!
